This consultation gives interested parties the opportunity to comment on the ECB’s approach for the recognition of institutional protection schemes (IPS) for prudential purposes.

Draft ECB Guide on the approach for the recognition of institutional protection schemes for prudential purposes

The draft Guide sets out the ECB’s approach for the recognition of institutional protection schemes (IPS) for prudential supervisory purposes.

It aims to ensure coherence, effectiveness and transparency regarding the supervisory policy that will be applied when assessing IPSs in line with Regulation (EU) No 575/2013 (Capital Requirements Regulation).
