Introduction to the list of supervised entities
The list of supervised entities reflects the banks’ status on the cut-off date for the underlying statistical data. However, this date does not necessarily coincide with the date of the actual decision on a bank’s significance.
Types of supervised entities
In the SSM Framework Regulation, the types of supervised banks are referred to as:
- credit institutions
- financial holding companies
- mixed financial holding companies
- branches of credit institutions established in non-participating Member States
