The ECB Regulation on supervisory fees describes how the fees for each bank are calculated.

Before adoption and in case of amendment, the ECB Regulation on supervisory fees is the subject of a public consultation. All the comments received are assessed and summarised in a feedback statement.

The requirement to pay fees is laid down in Article 30 of the SSM Regulation.
