Recent developments on reporting and data quality

Impact of CRR III/CRD VI on the data quality assessment

This session will cover the main challenges facing the industry and supervisors in terms of the recent reporting developments, focusing on risk data aggregation and risk reporting (RDARR). The presentation will also cover the impact of the new European Banking Authority framework on the ECB data quality assessment framework, focusing on the Data Quality Indicator (DQI) and resubmission metrics. Some high-level trends on the data quality assessment will be provided.

This session will cover the initiatives to monitor and manage the reporting burden for significant institutions due to micro-prudential data requests. This includes maintaining and further developing a dedicated database, as well as reviewing horizontal data requests.

SSM strategy on RDARR as a priority

This session will cover the overall strategy of the RDARR priority in banking supervision, including various initiatives, goals and main conclusions of the 2024 targeted review (RDARR help desk, management report). The session will also cover the main elements and expectations of RDARR from a supervisory perspective.
